One of the world’s most well-known design prizes
Together with our design partner Propeller ASKO has won one of the design world’s most prestigious prizes, the red dot award. With more than 7,000 submissions from 60 countries this international award ranks among the largest and most well known design competitions in the world. Since 1955, an international jury yearly has reviewed and evaluated the submitted products to the criteria of degree of innovation, functionality and formal quality. In the design world it is well adapted that this prize recognizes and gratifies outstanding design and products. The awards will be presented on June 23 2008 at the Essen Opera House in Germany.
Well planned design strategy
ASKO and Propeller has created a design strategy for the Line Series fully integrated washers and driers, focusing on making a product that is easy to use while at the same time has a unique style expression to differentiate ASKO on the market amongst competitors.

The new ASKO Line Series washer and drier are balancing innovation and intuition with a focus on simplicity, both in design and user experience. We also introduce a new mode of interaction that we believe is a more logical one. We call it the LineConcept and it is based on a single line, left-to-right, interaction that intuitively guides you through your options. The possibility to integrate the machines in combination with a Scandinavian design, durable construction and ecological concern makes these products unique on the market.
