ASKO Laundry

King size in the laundry room

We build laundry appliances with a focus on durability, environmental sustainability and design. Within ASKO laundry appliances we offer state of the art washing machines, tumble dryers, drying cabinets and Hidden Helpers™ that help facilitate your laundry work.

Being Swedish certainly plays a big part in our commitment to the environment. Perhaps because we have always had nature at our doorstep. For us, it’s not just about how much we use, but how little we waste – in production, while our products are in use and when they are disposed of. All our laundry appliances products are designed to be water- and energy efficient and are built to last for a long time. All our kitchen and laundry appliances are marked for future recycling.

If it moves is not an ASKO - Four legs are safer than two

Vibrations in a washing machine contribute to wear and reduce the life span. We have made our machines extra sturdy by building on four powerful spring legs rather than two shock-absorber legs. Particularly nice if you live in a wooden house or apartment building, where vibrating washing machines can be a real disturbance.

We also build our machines on a galvanised steel base rather than a plastic base, just like a professional washer. Needless to say, this also increases the life span. As far as we know this is unique to ASKO.

Smart seal - No rubber bellows keeps your laundry clean

All professional machines are made without rubber bellows. This is a must, as professional machines are subject to heavy wear – and a part that doesn’t exist never needs replacing. Rubber bellows gather dirt, and can also be worn down by coins and zips. Worn rubber bellows can cause leakage, of water and money, as repairs can be very costly.

ASKO is the only manufacturer also to remove the rubber bellows on its home washing machines. All to avoid leakage, and to make it easier to load and unload the machine.

Maximum effect, minimal wear - Activ Drum™

The Active Drum™ system provides optimum care and maximum gentleness for your laundry. The hourglass-shaped and removable lifters guide the load to the gentler central area of the drum and also effectively remove large objects such as dirt and gravel to the larger holes at the edge of the drum.

Do all your laundry jobs on less than 1 m²

With our laundry care concept, you can actually fit a co-designed washer, dryer, drying cabinet and Hidden Helper™ ironing board into an area of less than one square metre. The ASKO Pro Series™ washers and dryers are designed to fit beautifully together and moreover: with the 80 litre drum that can load up to 11 kg you can wash items that you normally can´t do like kitchen rugs, pillows, large blankets or duvets.

After the washing is done you put the whole wash load in the dryer which can take as much as 11 kg in its 145 litre drum. It is not surprising if you have not heard of this before – the ASKO Pro Series™ washers and dryers are the world’s first matching pair of extra-large domestic laundry appliances with professional construction.

Longer life thanks to non-stop Butterfly Drying™

With ASKO’s Butterfly Drying™ the laundry tumbles in a figure eight like a pair of butterfly wings, gently, non-stop and in less time without the clothes bundling. Other dryers use a ‘reversing’ drying process, which means the tumbler constantly changes direction. This stopping and starting takes quite a toll both on the motor and on the drive belt.

Eight good ways to dry your laundry

The auto programmes are not only convenient to use, they also save energy as the running time is adjusted according to the amount of laundry or how dry you want the load to be. There are eight efficient auto programmes to choose between: Jeans, Synthetic, Terry, Down, Iron dry, Dry, Normal Dry and Extra Dry.
