New Energy Labels

From March 1st, 2021, a new energy label is being introduced for home appliances – starting with washing machines, dishwashers and refrigeration appliances.

These labels help you, the consumer, understand more about the energy consumption of different appliances, as well as helping you choose more energy-efficient products.

Here, we’ve gathered together all of the information about what's new on the energy labels, as well as a run-through of all of the details that the labels contain.

The appliance-specific links below will take you to pages where you can see a comparison of the new labels with the old ones, as well as a guide to what the information and symbols that they contain all mean.
